Well I've had the car for a week and finally got around to more detailed inspection (as in all I've done so far is drive it, and smile)

What a transformation! How could the previous owner, or even the dealer, let it get like this?

Better now!

Although the other one will have to wait for my arm to recover.

I can't remember where I got it to be honest - I bought it a while ago for a previous car with chrome exhaust tips

Previous owner of mine has polished through to a copper colour in a couple of small places. The exhaust tips therefore seem to be chrome plated? If so, go easy on the abrasives like solvol.

I'll get the tartan paint and indicator fluid while I'm at it too!

Spirit-level bubbles are in short supply around here. Let me know if you spot any of those!
