Personally I would have at least the front done in PPF. 5 years on mine and no little chips.

Stunning!

In terms on maintenance, speak to the company that detailed the car.

Recently quoted £1650 + VAT for full front PPF including bonnet on a MY21 car. Just seems a lot of money vs. the cost of repairing a panel, so am struggling to justify it...

I guess it depends on how long you intend to keep the car and how much you want to invest in it upkeep and protection, knowing you probably wont get the money back. A scuzzy car wash will cost around £25 per month so need to keep the car 7 years pay off the investment.

£1650 will buy a lot of fuel, or a respray when the time comes.

Looks great. The guys who did it for you are the best to advise you. I had my cc applied last summer. Washed properly and carefully since she looks as good as when it was done!

Slightly off-topic but who did you use for your PPF and which brand of PPF did they apply?
I am due to take delivery of my F type in a few months and was going to get it PPF'd

Thanks

I used Detail Car Care in Baydon, near Swindon, Anthony is a one man operation and very good to deal with. He prepped the car extremely well and did the ceramic coating but got in PPF experts for that part as the bonnet is massive to do. He may have evolved since my job which was a good few years ago.
