Both seats at the side are showing extreme signs of wear and tear, I’ve cleaned them regularly and use auto gleam leather balm monthly. We’ve had her from new and has covered 14k in 2.6 years.
I’ve attached some pictures, what’s your thoughts?
Have you seen similar? Regards Mitch

I see this on that edge too, I treat mine to some leather paint using a small brush which blacks it back, for a while at least.

My ftype had only 7000miles on and my bolster showed wear on the bolster. I bought some leather seat dye, there are a lot available you can even one with a built in pad and that works well and are inexpensive.
It’s worth a try.

I can’t help with fixing it, but one thing I’m sure of is that the majority of wear and tear on bolsters is caused by the way drivers get into the car. Many I’ve observed use the bolster to half land on and then slide into the seat, especially in tight parking or garages. Modify that and wear will be much less going forward.

It's going sideways that's the problem! :)

Thanks for all your suggestions, I’ve come to the conclusion I’m just to fat and “ sliding in “
I’ve bought some leather dye with a sponge

Get some grandchildren. They seem able to work cake into the leather of my iX3 in seconds. Good bonding agent is diluted orange that is dripped on seats and smeared on windows for full effect..
