Digit 10 of the VIN shows it to be an MY20 car.

They must have it wrong in the advert then, what a surprise.

Don't tell 'em or they'll put the price up! :)

Jaguar's MYs tend to start around March of the previous calendar year - my MY18 was actually built in March 2017.

Registered 29/05/19 so would tie up with a MY 20
Looks like taken off the road 13/07 after passing mot with at least 1 tyre replaced and been for sale since
Seems to be a nice car with lots of extras from a quick visual
2014 MY 3.0 V6S Roadster
Subtle enhancements to create the car I wanted from SVR nose cone, 400 series side skirts & customised 'design' rear bumper, to heated SVR steering wheel and more

Hi, the VIN is correct.
Registered May 2019 and is an MY20 spec as Jaguar model years run in advance.

It started life with Paragon Fleet Solutions so would of been on an O plate originally (currently on a private plate of J21CLP). A car vertical check would tell you the original plate and then I can search to see if it appears online anywhere if that is important to you.

It appeared for sale on 25th Feb 2023, on 13th June 2023 and again on 21st August and has been untaxed since 14th July when it failed and then passed an MOT which was 6 weeks overdue.

Why it has been for sale and off the road I don't know but the original plate might help.

The for sale 3 times this year what would explain that ?. Would it be that its a lemon and been bought and sold many times. Cant seem to find out number of owners.

Failed MOT with a cut tyre.

Shows as 3 previous owners to me.

Paragon Fleet Solutions
Another Owner
Previous Owner

Just thought it weird that the MOT was due 29th May but it wasn't done until 13th July and then it appears for sale from the 14th July after it had a new tyre. Just wondering why it was off the road.

If your interested in it I would recommend a full Car Vertical check which would also give you the original "O" plate for investigation as well.

Last V5C change was on 20/10/21 so I would say it's not had any owner changes during this year's sales period and most likely moved around in the trade. I've seen a lot more of this in recent years as a dealer who cannot sell in a few months moves it on so keep stock rotating and deploy capital elsewhere.
Dealers should be able to tell you the previous number of owners very easily, but simpleR has already provided that. Strangely they often play around and pretend it's with the admin, dept. not the sales team or GDPR prevents them telling you. Usually just cover excuses to hide details to stop you walking away.

EDIT
If it helps simpleR, the previous registration numbers are OW19 GXN (twice) and 3 TDW

Thanks.

First owner was Paragon on OW19GXN then.

Then second owner had it on 3TDW and when sold it went back onto original O plate.

Then third owner had it on J21CLP which is still on it now.

I cannot find anything on OW19 GXN online so its first use will remain a mystery.

Time to start asking the seller to fill the gaps in and a Car Vertical check if your interested in the car.
