Hi all, newbie here!

I've been looking for an F Type for a long while now and just missed out on the perfect one a few weeks back. After test driving that one any thought of alternatives went right out of the window!
I'm now looking at buying the Italian Racing Red one from Parker Prestige.
Can anyone tell me if they have experience of that car please?
Apologies if this breaks any posting rules.

Not looking to dish dirt or gossip, just trying to be diligent and find out as much about the car as possible.
I do know the plate but not sure if it's OK to post it on here?
Happy to hear from anyone in PMs or DMs if you don't wish to post a response here.

Thank you.
JKF.

Post the plate and you'll get more information than you thought possible! Possibly. ;)

And welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum!

Italian Racing Red is a gorgeous colour

If you have the registration number of the vehicle you can check its MoT history, and if you're really clever there is a way to get the VIN number and check the service history. There are a number of people on here who can do further checks

Have you looked at this one which is a little bit cheaper and has a few other options?

Kev, yes I've been considering the Salvatore one but distance and convenience is a factor with that one, for me.
Love the colour, really pops without looking too loud!

A lot of dealers offer delivery too...when you factor in your time and travel costs to go and get the car it can work out cheaper for it to be delivered

What's your budget, location, and specification must haves?

Hi Kev,

The only must haves are V6, auto, black leather and reverse camera. Italian Racing Red is something I really want but would forego for the right spec.

I flip flop around other details, depending on the overall package!

I'm hoping to arrange to see the Parker one when I have a spare moment to myself. See if it's still available........ Wish me luck.

Good luck! I understand the distance thing - I’m only 5 miles away from Salvatore car…
I am always willing to travel far for the right car but very hard to know what the right car is from photos.
Agree about reverse camera being important - I’d hate to reverse park an F-type without one. Not an easy car to judge the size of when parking.

Car 14465

Started life in Cleveland (1st owner) in May 2014 and Jaguar servicing. Then 2nd owner was in Hartlepool (2018/19) and used Car Tech Prestige.
The car then appears in Nottingham in 2020 at Parkway Specialist Cars presumably with 3rd owner. Then at Jaguar Solihull in May 2021 and then a gap and Parker Prestige serviced it in November and also fitted new brakes and tyres all round. Which is where I presume it is for sale.

With any used car, I would recommend a check, such as Car Vertical to check for hidden history.
It is overdue supercharger belt and accessory belt replacements so factor that into the price.

Thank you jagseven.

Thank you simpleR and also for the information which will be most valuable and gives me some peace of mind to enquire further about the car!

Will post when I know more, either to say I've missed it or to say it's mine!
