An assumption, an understanding and a question!

Hi all

I've joined this forum to build my knowledge as I search for an R Coupe. Hoping to become a fully fledged member (owner) soon. Enjoying the search and excited at the prospect of ownership.

Meanwhile I would appreciate help with the following please;

- I'm assuming that the change from the brass coloured starter and other buttons was accompanied by some detail/quality improvements to address any early production issues. I've tended to avoid first year production cars in the past, but perhaps needlessly in this case?

- I understand the move of the bonnet vents for the awd model addressed the problem of seized injectors due to water ingress.

- What improvements coincided with the redesign of the front bumper for cars registered during 2017?
