How bad is it for an F-Type to have not had a yearly service interval?
A low mileage 2015 V6S has just come up with the following service history:
May 2023 / 16425 miles
Oct 2020 / 10406 miles
Mar 2019 / 7815 miles
May 2017 / 4225 miles
May 2016 / 2372 miles
I unfortunately don’t have a reg so can’t see specifics, but it hasn’t had a service in 2018, 2021 or 2022, I assume due to the low mileage.
Just wondering what your opinions would be on going for a car like this?

That was clearly during Covid. The vast majority of owners wouldn’t bother to service a car they hadn’t been using. Only 6,000 miles between services.
Also, just because it’s not on the online history doesn’t always mean a car hasn’t been serviced, owners often also use independent local garages who can’t access the online system (but provide a paper invoice).

Covid or not (which also doesn't explain the 2018 missed service), I fail to see how 3 missing services qualifies for "Full Jaguar Service History" as noted in the advert. It was also being driven throughout these intervals, as evidenced by the MOT records, albeit not very much - nice to see the report of a child seat on one MOT test, so a young child was getting a proper introduction to motoring

It's like any element of a cars history. You have to decide if it bothers you or not and if the overall deal and condition of the car, (which is the most important on older cars) is right for you
Personally I don't like the idea of the car being left with the deteriorating oil in it and potentially lots of interim items missed/skipped. Future buyers may have the same doubts as you clearly have.
Specifically on this car:
Given that it's been serviced by JLR I doubt there are any indy services in between or items completed not listed.
It should now have it's 108 month service (due 26/03/24) which includes supercharger and aux belts, so is the biggest service.
There's no record of any brake fluid changes in it's history, which is pure time based routine.
Budget in that you'll likely have the original tyres and possibly battery so they will need replacing soon being 9 years old.
To me this is a car that's just had oil and filters and one change of plugs in it's life, skipping much care , due to low mileage.

I took it to be a typo.

I've seen this mentioned a few times and believe it to be when a vehicle is operated in harsh environments (e g. Very dusty or lots of short journeys) causing oil to degrade quicker and filters to become blocked sooner than average.
